Hanna is an amazing conversation partner and teacher! - She always brings a ton of positive and cheerful energy to every lesson that immediately makes me comfortable even speaking in my broken Korean. - She does a great job of speaking at a level I can understand while also consistently introducing new terms. - She writes up a comprehensive review of every lesson that I can easily study on my own time between lessons. - She always puts in effort to come prepared with interesting topics for us to talk about. It’s always a real pleasure to have classes with 한나 샘! I’ve been working with her for several months now, and I can really feel my progress—especially in speaking, where I’m becoming more and more comfortable. 한나 샘 is a kind, encouraging, and attentive teacher. She’s always available to answer questions and doesn’t hesitate to adjust the lesson according to my needs or goals. She also provides helpful resources to reinforce what we’ve learned. It has taken me a while to find another teacher / tutor I feel comfortable with. Hanna has helped me to gain confidence when speaking Korean! Thanks to her focused lessons and role-plays I was able to go to a mechanic , take my son to the hospital and speak korean confidently with the people in my neighbourhood. I'm very glad to have Hanna as my tutor! Her lessons are very well prepared with materials that are tailored to my learning needs. I'm traveling to Korea soon and so we use a textbook especially written for traveling as well as practicing various roleplaying scenarios such as ordering food at a restaurant or checking into hotels. Since my focus is on speaking, Hanna always encourages me to speak more and corrects my mistakes. Thanks to her, I'm getting more confident with speaking Korean. Each class begins with a review session which I find super helpful! Hanna also sends detailed notes after class so I don't have to worry about taking notes during the lesson. Hanna 씨 is a wonderful teacher! After many trial lessons with other teachers on italki, I was lucky to find her while she had a lot of availability. I enjoy her teaching style which is very encouraging and challenging in a fun way. (no boring lectures) At the end of each lesson, she takes the time to summarize all the new vocabulary and grammar for that lesson, in a pretty and easy-to-read format. She also listens carefully to my individual goals and caters the lessons to them. I really look forward to my lessons and have been taking them regularly now because her energy is so motivational! If your native language is English, she will be humble and say her English is only proficient, but it's actually exceptional for her second language. I would highly recommend her!

Great second lesson with 한나! She’s very kind and patient. She teaches at your pace and takes time going over anything you struggle with or don’t understand. I’m looking forward to many more lessons with her!
