Rin is incredibly patient and easy to talk to. I was bumbling through, trying to think of the correct words, and she was super helpful with noting down and teaching me the vocabulary I lacked. After class, I was sent a google doc with all the new words. Overall, I had a great experience in the short 30 or so minutes of our lesson. Thank you Rin :)

Good experience with Rin. What I've noticed is that after a few sessions, she will cater her word and grammar choice to what you've demonstrated knowledge of, and then introduce new words consistently. Great method for intermediate speakers.

I love Rin! She’s been helping me for eight or nine months now. She keeps a running list of new words and expressions she has taught me in a google doc, which is way helpful for me to reference. When I look back and see how much I’ve grown, I’m really happy. We did A LOT of work! Rin professionally and expertly coaches me. She is super helpful, super patient, and extremely thoughtful. Rin helps me tackle NHK Easy News articles and chats with me about them and our daily lives. I’m well on my way to reaching my goals, and Rin makes the journey enjoyable and less stressful. I’m lucky to have her in my corner & I really appreciate her positive attitude and encouragement…she is the best!

Rin was very patient and facilitated conversation despite my limited ability. As we spoke, she would jot down new vocabulary and display it so it was visible but not disrupt the flow of conversation. Rin's fluency in English made it easier to get through the language hurdles, would particularly recommend her for beginner to intermediate learners looking to build vocabulary and practice conversation.
