Pia from Stockholm

After more than 30 lessons, I am confident to say Pia is one of the best teachers I have met. I came into these lessons being scared of criticism. Pia does it such a way, It doesn’t feel like criticism. Even my Swedish family/friends have said I have improved significantly fast & have gained much confidence with my words. Pia has made learning feel fun. Every lesson is tailored to previous things we’ve discussed or something she thinks I would find interesting. Something i’ve always looked for in a tutor is for it to just feel like i’m at home; like we’re just chatting. Pia does exactly that, and often we turn lessons my lessons into a chat about our lives and experiences. (which I am confident is what gave me better fluency!) Pia really feels like family and I have never been so impressed with myself and the confidence she’s helped me gain with my swedish comprehension and speaking. If you are looking for a new teacher, I highly recommend Pia. 🫶

Pia is an excellent tutor. She never misses a class, always comes prepared with helpful materials, and structures each session according to my individual needs. She provides relevant feedback, encourages me throughout the learning process, and creates a supportive environment that makes learning enjoyable. Since starting my classes with Pia, I’ve seen great progress in my Swedish skills. I feel much more confident and motivated, and I always look forward to the next lesson. I highly recommend Pia to anyone looking to improve their Swedish and gain the confidence to speak it!

I only had my first lesson now, but I am looking forward to my next one. It was the perfect mix between free speaking and correcting mistakes. Felt very easy going.

Jag har nu haft tio lektioner med Pia. Vi läser spännande texter tillsammans och det utvecklas alltid till bra diskussioner. Pia är motiverad, empatisk, har tålamod 😊 och korrigerar mig när det är nödvändigt. Att ha lektioner med Pia är ett bra sätt att prata svenska, och jag njuter av det varje gång!
