Hallo, mein Name ist Michelle. Seit unterrichte seit 2018 Deutsch auf italki. Ich habe in Kiel Geographie und Englisch studiert und arbeite zur Zeit als Lehrerin an einer Grundschule. Ich liebe Reisen und längere Aufenthalte im Ausland! Zu meinen Hobbys zählt Kickboxen, Klavier spielen, skaten, sticken, malen, Bücher, Filme, meine Katzen etc.

Hello, my name is Michelle. I'm giving lesson since September 2018 on italki. I spent 2018/2019 abroad and looove to travell! I studied Geography, English and Russian at uni to become a teacher. My hobbies are doing lots of sport (kickboxing, running, skating), playing the piano, paint, books, movies, my cats... Maybe we find a common interest to talk about. I'm always looking forward to meet new people!

I don't follow a strict book with German grammar. Nevertheless, I can explain the grammar to you. I'd like to have an open conversation with my students and motivate them to talk. Because talking is the best way of learning it. In the beginning we can have lessons in English so that I can explain everything to you. But from time to time I'd like it to include more and more German to the conversations.
We can talk about any topic that you like and that interests you to keep you talking.
Another point is that I want to make sure you know how to handle daily situations with the German language and maybe tell you something about the culture.

Michelle was very friendly. We had a conversation during which all corrections were typed into Skype. Michelle was willing to try different teaching/learning methods. :)

Michelle was prepared for our class so there wasn't that awkward silence. We discussed different topics from TV series to education options in Germany. I'm very satisfied with the lessons. :)

Ich habe schon viel mal mit Michelle zusammen geübt.Das hilft mir sehr meinen Deutsch zu verbessern. Sie spreche sehr Standardhochdeutsch und auch gut bei Grammatik erklären. mir ist sicher, dass durch ihre Hilfe so schnell wie möglich mein mündliches Deutsch zu nächste Niveau bringen kann.
