My name is Kana. I was born and raised in Kyoto, where I still live.
So, I speak Kansai dialect! 😎
I went to the USA to study abroad for one year, so I can speak English!
I enjoy listening to music, creating art, and traveling.
When it comes to music, I’m currently listening to K-pop 🎀, but I also love J-pop and Showa-era songs.
My current job is as an assistant for an online art school for children.

I have been to 6 countries and 17 cities so far.
I went to Alabama, USA, to study abroad for one year.
During university, I also had the experience of teaching English to children.

My lessons are designed to be practical and focused on conversation.
I want to teach you how we speak in real-life situations, like at hotels, supermarkets, and other everyday places.
The reason I’m passionate about this approach is that when I was in Alabama, I struggled to speak naturally. Before studying abroad, I practiced grammar, reading, and writing, but my speaking skills weren’t strong enough for daily life and studying in the USA.
From that experience, I want my students to learn real Japanese that they can use in everyday situations!
