שלום, I'm Mazal :) As a native Hebrew speaker living in Israel, I grew up at the meeting point of two beautiful, distinct cultures after my family moved here from Ethiopia. I feel that this background gives me a unique perspective on what it truly means to integrate into a new culture and master its language. Since learning a language is such a personal journey, our sessions are designed as a partnership. The goal is to walk alongside you, supporting your specific goals and personality every step of the way. In our sessions, I create a relaxed space to practice Hebrew naturally. I find that I can be most helpful to students who already have a foundation and want to transform their knowledge into real-world speaking skills. Having learned languages myself, I know the struggle of finding the right words. What guides me is something my father taught me: to see every language as a treasure. That’s why I view our sessions as a playful treasure hunt for the words that lead to fluency. To keep the focus on the journey, I capture all new vocabulary in a table and send it by the end of the day, including transliteration. I adapt each session to your needs, whether you prefer structure or spontaneous conversation. Comfort and building real confidence at your own pace are the top priorities. Mazal is a lively enthusiastic teacher who is engaging, thoughtful and good fun. She has revitalised my motivation to learn Hebrew by her encouragement, a plan for building my knowledge bank and her clear exposition of new vocabulary. At the end of a lesson she sends me a list of the words we have covered, with transliteration to help pronunciation and shoresh to help associative memory.
