Mika is an exceptional teacher that I would recommend to any English speaker interested in learning Japanese. She's very engaged, explains the material thoroughly, and provides lots of helpful feedback. More than that, she's willing to go the extra mile and provide students with quite a bit of useful material free of charge. Something I was particularly grateful for was a Google Doc she made before my trip to Japan a few months ago which included grammar and phrases that were more refined and trip focused than the material you find in all of the popular Japanese textbooks. I wound up downloading to my phone and referring to it throughout my trip. Just a great teacher all around.

Mika先生 is great! It was really helpful to use the textbook together, and she provided slides of her own as well. The lesson was really fun and enjoyable overall and I can already tell that the new vocabulary and grammar I learned will be easy to remember thanks to her lesson.

Sometimes I still feel nervous trying to speak, but because Mika Sensei is so patient, I am able to slow down and focus on what I want to say. That's so valuable! Also, thanks to Mika Sensei's lesson today, I feel much more confident about reading Japanese recipes.

Mika-san is one of the best teachers I've had in any subject. She's always professional, friendly, prepared, and patient with her students. She does try her best to use Japanese as much as possible, but she also speaks English very well and is able to use it to explain the lesson material if need be. Overall, I'd recommend her to anyone learning Japanese at any level!
