I’ve been teaching Korean to Korean high school students for over 10 years, especially focusing on grammar, reading, and test preparation.

Donggyu is an excellent tutor and will definitely satisfy your learning needs. Classes are really enjoyable and engaging, and most importantly, modelled to fit my pace of studying. Donggyu offers numerous tasks to facilitate memorising new phrases and all the explanations are clear and easy to understand. The tutoring is always carried out in an amiable and supportive atmosphere. Truly recommend.

patient as always, despite my idiocy. my continued failure to differentiate 어 and 에 is 100% on me. This teacher couldn't be more encouraging or kind as I butcher his language.

Another ver nice lesson with Donggyu. You can see that he is very organised and yet he adapts the lesson to you constantly. In this lesson, he could see that I already had some knowledge about the topic, so he went off the script to push it a bit further. It was really enjoyable and challenging as a student.
He is a calm and patient teacher who encourages you to speak and participate. He will, of course, correct you but in such a pedagogical and kind way.
I am on the autism spectrum and have ADHD so it can be difficult for me to find people I get along with or that knows how to deal with me but Donggyu is doing an excellent job. He figured me out quite quickly.
I can't wait for the next lesson.

Teacher Donggyu is a very good teacher who listens to you, and helps to correct your mistakes. Even though it was my first lesson today, I didnt feel pressured and feel very comfortable in class. Looking forward to more lessons. Thank you for today :)
