I am from Saitama Prefecture in Japan and speak standard Japanese. I currently live in Hokkaido. I have lived in Thailand, the United States, and China for a total of 12 years, and I worked as a kindergarten teacher for 10 years. This experience has helped me understand learners from different cultural backgrounds. My hobbies include traveling, taking walks, photography, watching anime, karaoke, and making handmade items. I am often described as curious, proactive, and calm. In Japan, I have worked in various fields such as general companies, childcare, hospitality at ryokan and restaurants, and customer support. These experiences allow me to adapt my lessons to each student’s needs. As a Japanese teacher, I value creating lessons that are easy to understand. I believe students learn best when they feel comfortable and confident, so I aim to provide a supportive learning environment. I adapt each lesson to the student’s level, goals, and learning style. Whether you are a complete beginner, want to improve your conversation skills, or need structured grammar practice, I adjust the pace and content to suit your needs. I am patient when explaining pronunciation, grammar, and natural expressions, and I correct mistakes gently and clearly so you can learn without feeling nervous. My goal is to help you use Japanese with confidence and enjoy the learning process. My lessons are conducted primarily in Japanese.
