Child Care SpecialistDuring my fourth year of university, I studied hard to obtain a daycare teacher qualification and to work as a public nursery school teacher after graduation.
(I could have worked for a private one without putting in that effort, but I decided to put my energy into aiming for a higher career.)
I passed the exam and spent three years educating children aged 1 to 5, including those with special needs.

Bachelor’s - Child Care SpecialistI belonged to the Faculty of Human Care and studied child care for four years to obtain a daycare teacher qualification and a kindergarten teacher license.
Although it was not required, I also chose to take subjects to obtain an elementary school teacher license in order to pursue a higher career, and successfully obtained a total of three qualifications and licenses.

I had my first lesson with Chikaさん and it was amazingly insightful. Not only does Chikaさん have a very bright and friendly personality, but she made an incredible effort to improve my Japanese. She also provided insights into my Japanese that no one has ever told me before. I was really amazed, impressed and interested in all of the observations that she had. In addition to all of this, she was very enthusiastic and worked really hard to find words and phrases that I could integrate into my knowledge base.

My first lesson with Chika was exceptional! The session was super fun and energetic, filled with lively conversation that made the experience both enjoyable and satisfying. I truly appreciated the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which made the learning process feel more like chatting with a friend than attending a formal class. I’m genuinely excited about continuing this journey with Chika-san and can’t wait for more lessons like this in the future!

I've really enjoyed learning with Chika-san. She's always well prepared and knows how to guide the lesson effectively. Also, she has a great way of keeping things engaging and enjoyable. On top of that, she has a wonderful personality. Very friendly, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I can honestly recommend Chika-san to anyone looking for a fun, thoughtful, and skilled Japanese teacher.

Chikaせんせい was incredibly kind, and has very contagious energy. I have stayed away from 1:1 classes in the past, as speaking in a foreign language can be a very scary thing to do. Chika made me feel immediately welcome, and took great interest in my motivation for studying. I walked away with a study plan, and a smile on my face - excited to continue!
