Hi! My name is Mélissa, and I am from the Normandy region in France!
I have always been a language lover, and that pushed me to learn Japanese as a major at university.
Currently, I work in the tourism industry in Japan, which enables me to meet people from many countries! Before, I also lived in Australia and I travelled to many countries.
I especially love foreign cultures, nature, and outdoor activities. However I am a very curious person who enjoys learning about many topics, and discovering new hobbies all the time. Recently, I got into Japanese embroidery (very niche I know..)
Let's have a fun time learning French together! :)
Ik als leerkracht
The goal is to learn French in a fun and relaxed way, so do not feel pressured if you are struggling to get your words out. I am very patient, and I can give you hints if needed.
I had a hard time learning Japanese at university myself, since I felt pressured in class, so I know what kind of feeling you can go through in the learning process.
Also, I believe learning languages is not always a straight line, and you can forget even basic vocabulary sometimes. Do not hesitate to ask me vocabulary again, even if you asked several times already!
Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I like to tailor my lessons depending on the needs of my students.
If you want to focus on the speaking practice, we can have a relaxed talk where I give you all the vocabulary you need to make your sentence.
For experienced learners, I also like to make my students find themselves their mistakes, instead of pointing them out myself. This is a good way to memorize the correct way of saying something.
I am looking forward to meeting you all!
