Ivan

This was my first class with Ivan, whom I decided to have a trial class with after having read some wonderful reviews. That was definitely the right decision; he is exactly what I have been looking for in a teacher of foreign languages. I can already see that he is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable and highly experienced. He gives very precise and useful feedback, makes corrections very politely and professionally. He even followed up, after the class, with more useful resources, homework and material for the next class. Thank you very much Ivan. I look forward to learning with you.

Ivan is delightful. He is atuned to students needs and preferences even when the student is constantly changing. Very adaptable. Able to input quickly and sufficiently. Willing to slow down for students needs. All around superstar teacher. If you’re reading this wondering if you found a solid teacher - the answer is certainly yes.

I had a great first lesson and was encouraged to speak in Russian as much as I could, didn’t feel forced and enjoyed learning some new ideas around speaking Russian.

Ivan is a wonderful conversationalist. It's a great pleasure to talk to him. He can discuss literally any topic, knows how to lead a conversation, and asks very good questions. Our conversations always flow in a very natural and relaxed way. I learn new words and useful phrases every time (wondering, how many are still up there? :) He really feels and understands Russian very well and is eager to share his knowledge with others. I've been having fun learning Russian with Ivan and plan to continue our lessons.
