Me gusta enfocarme en la dimensión práctica del idioma y que mis alumnos practiquen, practiquen y practiquen. Mi idea a lo largo de todas las clases es hacer de director, pero que tú seas el actor principal.
El sistema tradicional está muy basado en que el estudiante reciba la información de forma PASIVA y mi sistema busca totalmente lo contrario: tú serás quien más trabaje y hable durante nuestras clases y yo te daré las herramientas que necesites para alcanzar tus objetivos :)
Para ello, usaré dos métodos, dependiendo de tu nivel:
- Materiales básicos para PRINCIPIANTES
- El método del DOCTOR para INTERMEDIOS Y AVANZADOS Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My two methods:
- BEGINNERS: We will use a DOCUMENT with the ESSENTIALS of Spanish (colors, numbers, emotions, food, etc.), to give you the necessary tools to start using Spanish in real life. Once we finish the document, we'll begin with phase 2 of the plan:
- INTERMEDIATE AND ADVANCED: The 𝐃𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑❜S METHOD! We will start with a conversation, and from there, I will analyze and diagnose—like a doctor—your problems or "diseases". This way, if I identify that you have a pronunciation or grammar error, we will do specific exercises to correct it. And all the vocabulary, expressions, and grammar will be reflected in a fully personalized document that we will modify in each class 😉.5.0

After seven months with Iván, I can honestly say he’s still el puto amo when it comes to teaching Spanish. What started as polishing my level has turned into discovering the true language of Spain; slang, expressions, even the attitude. Each class is a mix of laughs, learning, and funny moments that make the time fly by. He has a great ear for picking up subtle mistakes, and as someone that strives for perfection, this has been a huge help in bettering my Spanish.
Su manera de enseñar es natural, divertida y con mucho rollo. Sabe cuándo apretar y cuándo soltar alguna coña para mantener el ritmo, y eso hace que aprender sea un gustazo. Gracias a él, mi español suena mucho más auténtico, y he sorprendido hasta a mis amigos españoles con el cambio.
En plan, si estáis dudando… ¿a qué esperáis? En serio, no hay mejor profe si queréis hablar como un nativo, pillar la jerga real y pasároslo bien mientras aprendéis 🔥 🔥 🔥

Me encantan las clases con Iván. Siempre conversamos sobre temas interesantes en un ambiente relajado y agradable. Iván es paciente y es fácil tener una conversación interesante con él. Me ayuda muchísimo con el vocabulario y las expresiones naturales del español, lo que me da más confianza al hablar. ¡Recomiendo a todo el mundo que reserve una clase con él!

Iván had a Word document with some exercises, and we went through it together, focusing on the parts I didn't know yet. He also made sure to review the things I had forgotten, which really helped it stick. Overall, it was a very relaxed and productive session!

I have been taking lessons on Italki for 5 years studying 7 languages and I can honestly say Ivan is one of the best teachers I have found. Classes are relaxed and fun and he has a great way of explaining things. I particularly like how Ivan takes the time to share colloquial expressions to help me sound more authentic. Highly recommend!
