I am a German citizen and have 6 years of work experience in the communications field. As a student I had studied Political Sciences and European Studies. I enjoy exchanging with my students, travelling around Europe and listening to classical literature audio books. I have always loved grammar and enjoy learning French.
For 3 years, I have been teaching German online. It is my real passion, besides my part-time job at a PR agency. My lessons are well-structured and interactive, with a mix of reading, listening, writing and speaking. I always prioritize that the student speaks - I ask questions and let the student read out loud texts or tasks.
During the lessons I use a Google Doc with interactives exercises. These can be pictures, text, video clips, grammar or vocabulary exercises and I tailor them to a concrete subject. One Google Doc (= one module) means one subject. So far I have prepared modules on general topics such as food, health, housing or on cultural topics such as Beethoven.Mijn lesmateriaal

Seit drei Monaten lerne ich Deutsch, also bin ich auf A1/A2-Niveau. Ich nehme Konversationsunterricht bei Sandra, und sie hat mir sehr mit meinem Deutsch geholfen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden. Wir sprechen über viele Themen über Deutschland.
Sie benutzt Bilder, Texte und Videos, um Gespräche zu üben.
Ich kann sie sehr empfehlen.

Unsere erste Unterrichtsstunde hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Sandra ist sehr nett. Sie hat mir einige Ausdrücke gelehrt. Ich hoffe, dass ich weiter mit ihr lernen kann.

Great lesson with Sandra! We did a mixture of reading, listening, writing. We learned about prepositions and making plurals. When I got stuck or made mistakes, Sandra would help me out. She explains things in German, which helps improve my listening skill as well. Her class is focused and she has appropriate exercises planned for each lesson!

Great lesson with Sandra! We watched a funny video and took a short quiz about it, completing the activities from the "Wohnen" material. After that, we learned about food, and did various listening, writing, reading exercises from the "Essen" material. We also learned about the accusative case. I like how Sandra has a variety of different activities for each lesson, it is an ideal way to improve all of the language skills!
