You don't know me yet, but my name is Flor -- and I'm your new Spanish fairy godmother! I am a native speaker with a clear and neutral accent (Peru). I specialize in helping people get past a language learning plateau to reach conversational fluency! I discovered a passion for helping others to learn Spanish when my daughter-in-law, an American, came into our family a few years ago. She asked me to help her learn, and I was happy to provide resources and plenty of speaking practice for her! Later, I had the opportunity to volunteer at a language school in Colorado, where I often participated as a Spanish conversation partner and Peruvian culture advocate.Ik als leerkracht

My qualifications include extensive grammar and literature classes at San Martin de Porres University here in Lima that were taken as I pursued a Journalism degree. It is always a pleasure to be working with Flor. Anybody who hasn't tried out working with her is missing out on a great opportunity to learn Spanish. She knows a lot about the language, speaks very clearly and can teach any level. I've been taking classes with her for a long time now and my Spanish has improved a lot. She is a great teacher!

I had another wonderful lesson with Flor! She is truly an incredible teacher. She can structure lessons to fit my needs and help me practice various constructions and tenses.
