MAKIKO

Another great lesson with Maki-san! Each time we learn some new vocabulary and grammar and practice speaking. The atmosphere is always fun and relaxed, Maki-san is a patient teacher. Reviewing and self-study is very important though if you really want to move forward with your Japanese, so I've also taken up some homework from Maki-san as well. Sometimes I make a few sentences using the grammar we learned in the previous lesson, or I learn couple dozen new words which Maki-san quizzes me on the next time we meet. This has worked very well for me. Thank you very much and let's continue! 🤩

Out of all the Japanese teachers I've had, Maki-san has been by far my favorite. She quickly understands what you already know, then introduces you slowly to new grammar and vocabulary. We practice sentence making a lot, which is a style that suits me. Maki-san is very patient and encourages my learning. Studying on my own has been quite disorganized and overwhelming, but Maki-san has brought structure into my learning process. I feel very motivated now and I feel I am steadily progressing. Step-by-step. :)

It is amazing how quickly you learn Japanese language with Makiko san. Even so the grammar can be difficult, but it is never difficult with Makiko san. Thank you for your kind guidance!!!

After three lessons with Maki-san I've already made considerable progress! I'm not so shy to speak and much more motivated to study as I see myself getting better every day! Naturally, if you don't study/do homework, you won't be going forward very fast, but if you're dedicated, Maki-san can help you build grammar and vocabulary in order for you to be able to communicate in Japanese from the very beginning. I am so happy that I have a Makiko san as my teacher of Japanese language. Studying process with her feels so easy and enjoyable. I understand every word and sentence now, can speak a little bit and can answer questions with confidence.
