Tina is a great teacher. I wanted to learn phonetics to put a solid foundation for my Chinese learning. So as I asked, we're studying sounds and Chinese pronunciation. I'm pleased with how much I am learning. She knows well how to explain sounds, but also uses really good materials for our lessons, finds good examples and uses any occasion to teach me not just the phonetics, but also new vocabulary and the topical usage of Chinese in situations

Tina is a good teacher, she has really helped get me back into studying Chinese. We follow text book classes together and I am enjoying the challenge of learning Chinese with a friendly and patient teacher. Tina 老师叫我中文很好。

I’ve had a couple lessons withTina so far, and she is a great teacher for me. She’s patient, friendly, focused on my goals, and seems to have a lot of experience teaching students Mandarin. She’s even teaching me about the regional differences in the language that I might come across on my upcoming trip, which is extremely helpful.

Tina is a very professional teacher. I have had 11 classes with her so far and I will definitely continue working with her. Her lessons are fun, she combines the systematic teaching using standard HSK materials with teaching cultural references and real everyday Chinese. What I personally like: she is writing new vocabulary and sentences down during the class and she is sending them to me after the class together with a recording of her pronouncing these sentences.
