Hello! My name is Charles. I have been teaching English for more than 15 years. I have taught students in Japan, Saudi Arabia, and New York. I help people prepare for IELTS and TOEFL exams, or students who just want to practice speaking English. I have also worked as an IELTS test examiner, so I know what the test requires. I am also a software developer, and I enjoy helping other developers practice English for tech interviews and work. I love teaching and meeting people from around the world. Now, I am happy to teach online here on Italki.

For exam prep, I will teach you how to manage your time, use strong vocabulary, and practice for each part of the test. I also give mock speaking and writing tests with feedback. If you are a software developer or tech worker, I can help you prepare for job interviews and workplace communication in English. We can practice common questions, presentations, and team conversations. Most important—I want you to feel comfortable and confident. It’s okay to make mistakes! That’s how we learn.
