I really enjoyed my lesson with Kana-san! She helped keep the conversation flowing when I didn't understand something and created a comfortable and encouraging atmosphere. She is quick to adapt to your learning level and create a plan for future lessons. I'm looking forward to the next one!

I had a great time talking with Kana-sensei! She showed me some really cool places in Mexico like beautiful churches and a coffee museum! I showed her a few of my work’s buildings, like the glass-blowing building, the humanities building, and of course my building. We had lots of fun!

Kana is a wonderful teacher. I've already taken several Japanese lessons with her and am always amazed at how she teaches the Japanese language. A lesson with her flies by. Offered invaluable advice, extremely generously worked through an assessment of my current level despite me coming into her class with a last-minute and rather unusual (and unusually rusty, after years of not speaking Japanese) language goal, and kindly guided me through potential approaches to learning and structuring my education going forward. Also very ably explained things in both Japanese and, when my vocabulary failed me, English, and made me feel comfortable the whole time. Couldn't have asked for a nicer reintroduction to language-learning.
