Reuben

Fantastic! Reuben is everything instructor should be with a subject as complicated as German. After wasting a semester in a regular Uni course and spending much of the time confused and frustrated, he's managed in a few sessions to make all of the past tenses understandable and even fun (!). He uses a lot of mnemonic tricks to make the ideas and rule memorable. Patient, funny. I enjoy every session

Reuben is a very nice teacher and also easy to talk to. His lesson is always interesting and attractive. He is my recommendation to English learners as well as German learners. I was lucky to find an excellent teacher like you on italki, Reuben. I'm grateful that you have taught me since this April. I wish you will continue to teach me next year. I realised that you really liked learning languages when you talked about something you wished in the lesson today. That is one of the reasons I respect you. Reuben is an exceptionally professional and skilled teacher. During our trial class, he provided a wealth of advice that I can easily incorporate into my daily routine. Furthermore, Reuben is excellent at guiding students through a systematic learning journey. By asking a few targeted questions about my challenges, he was able to provide insightful solutions almost immediately.

Perfect lessons are interesting, engaging and productive, they have to have the right depth, and preferably be entertaining as well as educational, and Reuben consistently and easily delivers on all counts.
