I come from Bosnia and Herzegovina and I currently work in international relations and human rights projects, where communication and language play an important role every day. Through my work with youth, international partners, and multicultural groups, I’ve learned how important it is to explain things clearly, patiently, and in a way that feels natural. Language, for me, is not only grammar — it’s a way to connect, understand cultures, and feel confident in new environments. As a teacher, I am supportive, patient, and focused on helping students feel confident when they speak. I adapt my approach to each learner’s level and goals — whether someone wants to improve conversation, pronunciation, grammar, or simply sound more natural in everyday situations. Because I work with people in international projects and workshops, I’m used to explaining complex things in a simple and practical way. My goal is not only to teach the language, but also to help students understand how people really speak and communicate in Bosnian / Croatian / Serbian. My lessons are interactive, practical, and student-centered. We can focus on conversation, vocabulary building, pronunciation, grammar, or specific situations such as travel, work, relationships, or living in the Balkans. Just pure joy! Today we revised the verb To Be, then introduced the verbs, To Have and To Be Able to with some useful practice. We also did the numbers from 10-20 and every step of the way, so much laughter! Ajna creates such a safe environment and is very generous with her encouragement. Puno hvala!
