My name is Mostafa, here are some fun facts about me!:
1. I am an anthropology and physical geography student at the University of Ottawa ๐๏ธ
2. I'm Afghan-Canadian, and I've been speaking Persian my whole life! ๐๐คโค๏ธ๐
3. I love learning about history, religion, world cultures and geography ๐
4. I'm really into nature and I love biking, hiking, swimming and travelling ๐ฒ๐บ๏ธ๐บ๏ธIk als leerkracht
I've had several work and volunteering experiences where I was in a teaching position. For 2 years, I volunteered at the Francophone centre in my city, where I was a camp counsellor for a March break camp completely run in French with the goal of fully immersing the kids in a french environment. Additionally, I was an instructor for their french conversation circles for kids aged 6-12. I independantly organized activities that taught kids basic french vocabulary and strenghtened their speaking skills. As for Persian, I tutored family members and friends how to read and write in Persian. Overall, I've had a good amount of exposure to tutoring and teaching. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I like to take a holistic approach to teaching. I like to practice both input (reading and listening) and output (writing and speaking). I believe that this will give you a good grasp at a language, and allows you to speak casually and read/write more formally. I'm also very open to whatever method you prefer; if you want to have just free talking, or if you want to dive into a big textbook, I can cater to anything you want!Mijn lesmateriaal
