Servus, my name is Daniela. I am happy to help anybody who is interested in learning German whether it is just for fun or for work/studies. Kids are also very welcome!
It is important that everybody tries to speak as much as possible and gets confident in doing so. Please, don't be shy and enjoy the process of learning! My lessons focus on conversation/pronunciation/listening comprehension/. I'll correct your mistakes and try to make your German sound like a native speaker. If you feel like your conversation is not flowing well, we'll look at the reasons for it (lack of grammatical structure/vocabulary/clear pronunciation).Ik als leerkracht
I would like my students to be able to speak to German speakers about anything from small talk to much more complex topics such as sport, literature, cinema, politics - anything you normally would talk about in your mother tongue. For those whose level is not good enough yet for a proper conversation, I'll teach you grammar and vocabulary to get you started.
I have a postgraduate teaching qualification from the Goetheinstitut but more important I have been learning and teaching languages nearly all my life so I have experienced both sides. Even though I am trying to hold the entire lesson in German as much as possible, do not worry if your level is not good enough. I'll speak and explain in English when you don't understand. And for the students who speak Italian, French and/or Spanish, I have also a bit of knowledge in these languages so we won't get stuck:).
For those who need help in writing, I offer proofreading and also exercises in Creative writing. In December 2024, I published my first novel "Spätaufbruch" by Daniela Recht.
But whatever you choose to do, I try to teach in a very relaxed atmosphere. I believe you gain more motivation when you feel at ease and you have also fun.Mijn lesmateriaal

German online teacherI have been teaching German to children, students and adults from all over the world. Most of them want to improve their German in order to work in Germany. With students whose level is not good yet, I teach basics of grammar. For those who are advanced we have conversations about different topics. Some of my students who are confident enough give presentations between three to up to five minutes. Afterwards we to correct mistakes in order to make their German like a native speaker.

Language tutorIn Munich during my time as a student of ‘Political Science’ from 2001 until 2004, I also gave lessons in German, English, French, Italian and Latin with two language institutes “Studienkreis Unterhaching” and “Schulfit Ottobrunn”. These institutes provided after school classes to enhance the students’ skills and comprehension in German and foreign languages.

Today I had my last lesson with Daniela (for now), and I can say I am really thankful for all her patience and help. I reached out to her because I wanted to take some classes before my baby is born, and she was very accommodating - finding times to schedule lessons that worked for both of us, getting materials that could help with the subjects I struggle the most, and even dealing with my "pregnancy brain" and tiredness ;) She was always on time and well prepared. Overall, I enjoyed every single lesson of our package and can totally recommend her, she's a great teacher! Danke, Daniela!

Der Unterricht war wirklich toll! Vielen Dank, Daniela! Normalerweise habe ich Angst, auf Deutsch zu sprechen, aber mit Daniela ist alles sehr angenehm gelaufen. Eine sehr nette Lehrerin!

I had my first lesson with Daniela today and it was great. It was a conversation class and I asked her if we could talk about something more than just day to day things, in order to learn new vocabulary. She used a short video to introduce a topic and we talked about it. She kept the conversation going and she paid attention to the mistakes I made and corrected me and gave explanations when necessary. It was a fun and useful class. Vielen Dank, Daniela!
