This was a impressive first class with Jose! The goal for this was to get an idea on my initial level and a feel for his teaching style. Technically-speaking, he had a quality connection/camera/audio, which helps a great deal as I could clearly hear and see him throughout the whole lesson. We went through some initial conversation and then worked through custom slides and materials where he would ask me questions and allow me to respond in Espanol. He would provide subtle corrections in the chat window, and assist if I got caught or stuck. At the end of the class he gave a recap of my current level, areas of strength, and areas for improvement. I was also impressed as throughout our class he was calm, genuine, and curious - and certainly created a safe environment where I felt able to express myself without any fear of failure. He spoke clearly and slowly to help give me the best chance to understand him throughout. Thanks for the excellent lesson Jose, it was a pleasure meeting you.
