Hi! My name is Karen-Alexandra and I teach English on italki. I graduated from Harvard College where I studied History and Science, and obtained a language citation in the Chinese language.Ik als leerkracht
I will focus on helping students to improve their conversational English skills and will specifically work to help them improve their pronunciation, grammar and vocabulary. I have experience learning languages myself, and I hope to use that experience to create an engaging environment for students to appreciate the benefits of language acquisition. I plan to be supportive and encourage as much conversation in English as possible, as I am well aware of the benefits of language immersion. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My focus will be on helping students improve their conversational English skills. I will either provide a few questions for conversation or allow the student to propose a topic and will provide feedback on their pronunciation, grammar, and vocabulary based on the conversation. For more advanced learners, I might provide an article for conversation. For beginners, we will use image files to practice vocabulary. To practice vocabulary for learners of all levels, flashcards might be used.Mijn lesmateriaal
