Another fantastic lesson with Pei Laoshi. Pei packed a surprising amount of learnable content into a one hour beginner lesson, meaning I came out with the ability to potentially say quite a lot! Super well-paced lesson with the right amount of challenge! 10/10!

Pei Lao Shi is a fantastic teacher who tailored the lesson to my interests and goals with learning Chinese. One of my goals is to practice reading, so she prepared slides and articles about topics that I'm interested in so that I could practice both reading and speaking about the topic. Lessons are tailored well to my level of understanding and to the topics that I am interested in.

Excellent lesson with Pei Laoshi! We covered Taiwanese Hokkien’s tone sandhi and Pei explained it very clearly, despite it being somewhat complex! To this end, she created a tone sandhi diagram to help with my understanding, which was much better than anything I found on the internet (including AI). Lots of fun learning different food-related adjectives, too! Thank you, Pei!

Pei provided a fantastic Taiwanese Hokkien trial lesson. I had originally booked 30 minutes but we ended up running over by so much time that I felt a little bad! Pei was really interested in learning more about my student needs and motivations; she prepared lots of slides and was very good at teaching me 台語 from a beginner foundation. Super fun and helpful experience and very excited to have more classes with Pei!
