My name is sophie, and I was born in Seoul, Korea. I lived and studied in the Phillipines for 5 yrs, and in Canada for 7 yrs. Although I spent most of my life outside Korea, I always had Korean friends and classmates around me so I was able to stay as Korean through Korean. Suhyun (Sofia) is such a sweet, caring, diligent, and patient Korean tutor. She put a lot of effort into preparing materials in advance and tailored the lesson to my needs. I had a wonderful first session with her. She speaks excellent English and explains the nuances of the Korean alphabet with great clarity.
