Hello! My name is Yume and I am a Japanese language teacher. I am from Japan and have been living in the United States since 2022. 🌟My teaching background I have a Master’s degree in Japanese Language Education and 3 years of experience teaching at the university level in the United States. I have also worked as a private tutor, teaching students from children to senior adults. I love teaching and enjoy interacting with students from all over the world. Free Conversation For students who want to practice speaking Japanese through topics you enjoy. 2. Grammar Lessons For students who want to build a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary. We will also practice speaking, listening, and reading during the lesson. 🌟About me I enjoy traveling, watching movies and TV series, and baseball. My top 3 anime are Slam Dunk, One Piece, and Ranma 1/2. I am also learning Spanish so that I can communicate more with my family. Since I am learning a foreign language myself, I understand how it feels to study a new language as a student. What do you like to do? Yume was SO NICE! I was really nervous to start taking lessons, but she was so patient and understanding. She made me feel way more confident, even just after 1 trial lesson. I’m excited to take more lessons with her!

Her grammar explanation were clear, detailed, and easy to follow. I learned a lot throughout the class, and she always encouraged me, so I felt comfortable asking questions and speaking without worrying too much about making mistakes. I am already excited to take her next lesson!
