Hi! My name is Kat and I’m a Polish teacher on italki. I’m originally from Poland, but I’ve been living in Sydney, Australia for almost 10 years. I speak Polish (native), English, and Spanish, so I understand what it’s like to learn a new language. I love travelling, staying active, spending time outdoors, and exploring different cultures. I’m a very open and friendly person, and I enjoy meeting people from all over the world and helping them feel confident speaking Polish. As a teacher, I focus on making you feel comfortable and confident from the very beginning. I know that speaking a new language can feel intimidating, so I create a relaxed, supportive space where you can learn without stress or pressure. I adapt to your level, goals, and pace, whether you’re a complete beginner or more advanced. I’m patient, encouraging, and practical - my goal is to help you actually use Polish in real-life situations, not just learn theory. My lessons are practical, engaging, and tailored to you. We focus on real conversations so you can start speaking from day one, while also building strong foundations in grammar and vocabulary. We’ll use a mix of speaking, reading, and listening exercises, including everyday topics, texts, and sometimes videos or songs. I explain grammar in a simple, clear way and always adjust to your needs. From time to time, I provide extra materials or homework to help you progress faster.
