I highly recommend Katherine as a teacher. I've taken several lessons at this point. She's had a solid curriculum, leading me easily through the first 100 asl signs. She has a joyful demeanor which makes for a nonjudgmental classroom environment. She also incorporates aids in the form of pictures and an occasional video. I would definitely point any prospective ASL learner towards her.

She's super nice and great at letting you try and figure things out first, but she helps guide the class and gives examples on how to go about signing. Thank you!
