Great first lesson!  Gorka jumped right into the material and stayed over our time so I could have my first conversation in Basque. 

This week's lesson was a lot more complex and we went over a few new grammar rules. I was having a bit of trouble with the nuances, but Gorka was able to explain and guide me though the differences and mistakes I was making.

In this lesson, we can talk about a topic agreed in advance, with vocabulary, expressions, and sentence structures to guide you through it, or we can take turns at the helm, letting the conversation flow if you feel comfortable with that. Mintza Praktika (Conversation) A1 to C2

This course is for complete beginners who want to learn Euskara Batua (Standard Basque). You will focus on practical communication: introducing yourself👋, handling everyday situations🛒, and reading and understanding short texts📖.

Lessons are personalised for each student, and explanations can be given in Japanese, Catalan, German, Galician Portuguese, French, Italian, or Castilian, so you can rest assured that any questions will be clearly understood.

The full A1 level typically takes around 190 hours, but your pace can be adapted to your goals and learning style.

In this course you will learn

* To introduce yourself and others, and exchange basic personal information
* To ask and answer simple questions about daily life, family, food, and directions
* Essential vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic grammar
* How to form simple sentences, make negatives, and ask questions
* To express location and movement, and use simple auxiliary verbs

This course is for learners who already have some knowledge of Euskara Batua (Standard Basque) and want to expand their skills beyond the basics. You will focus on practical communication in everyday situations: describing your past and present life 🏡, talking about future plans 📅, expressing opinions and preferences 💬, and reading and understanding short texts📖.

Lessons are personalised for each student, and explanations can be given in Japanese, Catalan, German, Galician-Portuguese, French, Italian, or Castilian, so any questions will be clearly understood.

In this course you will learn

This course is for learners who already have a solid foundation in Basque and want to move toward independent communication. You will practise understanding and producing longer, more detailed language in real situations: telling stories and experiences 🗣️, giving explanations and reasons 🔍, expressing feelings and opinions 🎭, and engaging with authentic texts such as articles, conversations, and short stories 📚.

The classroom language will be Basque. Explanations in other languages are only used when absolutely necessary.

In this course you will learn

* To narrate past events and describe future possibilities in more detail
* To give reasons, explanations, and justifications for your opinions
* To take part in everyday discussions
* To understand and use common idiomatic expressions and colloquial language
* To write longer, structured texts
