Jenny is such an AMAZING and professional tutor!! She has a genuine passion for teaching and it shows. She took the time to ask me questions about myself and my current language level and also gave me material before hand that I could use to prepare for the class. But for me the key point was that she herself was prepared, I could tell that she prepared the lesson just for me and catered it to my current language level so that it was challenging, progressive, immersive and also fun. She is very patient and reassuring and I felt very comfortable practicing my oral Chinese with her. After the lesson, she gave me a brief summary and told me her thoughts about the areas that I need to improve upon and also gave me a ( written ) summary of the lesson that I can later go over and review. She also gave me a really fun sounding homework that I kinda can’t wait to start which is a really strange thing for me to say about homework lol. I really can’t stress it enough, she’s wonderful :)

If there were 10 Stars rating I would mark all 10. Today was a growth day in the Lesson. Jenny is letting us go an use what we know and assisting me from that. Her easy method of memory recovery of past lesson is very good. Not just a TEACHER but an educator . Continued repetition recognition . Memory re-enforcement to remember. and creating sentence structure that word replacement in the same structure broadens my retention of new words I have learnt . Easy transition for future words to slip into these structures that she introduces for her students. A wonderful educator to learn from

Jenny is a fantastic teacher! It’s immediately clear that she has years of experience. She listens carefully and always pays attention to the small details in my speech, correcting mistakes and then helping us return to the conversation. Her explanations are clear and thoughtful, drawing parallels between different lessons and topics, and she’s very observant. She also gives me space to complete some grammar structures or recall vocabulary on my own, so I feel both supported and challenged (挑战) in just the right way. It’s easy to stay engaged during her lessons, and I always come away having learned something new.

So awesome! She was flexible bc of my calendar mismanagement and even gave me homework for after class. Very caring I recommend if you’re looking for a teacher who will take the time to fix your mistakes!
