Hi everyone, My name is Marie, and I’ve been teaching Swedish, English and Russian since 2009. I am a professional teacher and I have a TEFL/TESOL certification.
I worked as a university teacher, and I worked at several language schools in Russia. I also taught English in Asia for a couple of years. Currently, I only teach on Skype and work as a translator. I teach online every day, and I have students from all over the world. I use professional educational materials and I have experience of working with students of different ages (5-75).Ik als leerkracht
I'm friendly, flexible and very patient. I like discussing various topics such as music, films, food, technologies, traveling, culture, etc. I'm good at explaining grammar, so you can ask me any questions about that.
I prefer not to push but to inspire, and individual approach is my main principle. I let the students study at their own pace, and I always try to find the best way to help them achieve their goals. It is a very nice experience learning Russian with Marie. We are working with a textbook and she is invaluable in explaining grammar rules and help me correct my pronounciation. She also provides valuable insight into the russian culture and differences between Sweden and Russia. I absolutely recommend her as a teacher.
