There are 2 different IELTS exams; General Training and Academic. Each of the tests measures 4 different skills; Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking. Your test is scored using a specific set of criteria. Each section is graded and the scores are combined to give you an overall band score of 1-9.
I have extensive experience and qualifications to teach all forms of English training. But, my expertise is in IELTS instruction, and that is what I love to do. It is rewarding to experience my students transform their understanding of the test, achieve their necessary scores, and be accepted into Grad school or migrate to the USA, Canada, or UK and improve their life.Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I use an interactive IELTS learning platform where we share the same screen and speak to each other face to face. You are able to manipulate the screen along with me. There are actual IELTS audio clips, reading and writing assignments, online homework and quizzes. You will be walked through each and every step of the exam, so you can arrive to the test with the most confidence possible. If you are interested in taking the IELTS exam, I am the teacher for you.

It was very productive first session. Landon was very friendly and flexible and I got some really good tips on getting high score in IELTS exam and improving the language skills in general. I am planning to have more sessions with him to discuss in detail about different types of questions in IELTS and the grading criteria for different modules and to focus on improving my weaknesses in the language.

I heard about Landon from one of his students. She said he was the best IELTS teacher that she had seen on italki, or anywhere. And she is right. She said that his lessons were so helpful that she ended up scoring an 8.5 band score overall and even scored a perfect score of 9 in two of the sections. The tips that I am receiving from him now are things that I have never heard from anyone before. I am amazed at the amount of things I did not understand about this test, and how much time I am able to save. So yes, I highly recommend Landon.
