My name is Alexander. I am an electrical / audio engineer, electronic music composer, and have a huge passion for languages and cultures. I speak English, German, Italian, and am learning Japanese intensively. I am currently traveling between Japan, Austria, and Italy, practicing my languages and learning the cultures deeper.Ik als leerkracht
I am a very laid back and relaxed teacher. I think a student can only get out as much as they put in, so I plan to help make the process as fun as possible, and motivate the student to devote as much time as possible outside of the classroom as within. Languages need to be watered every day, and it is my mission to give people the tools and knowledge to do that. Mijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
My teaching style consists of encouraging students to immerse as much as possible with Netflix or Youtube, and then come to me when they need clarity on grammar or a particular difficult piece of vocabulary. It is a yin and yang relationship between raw language input and collecting questions, and then getting fixed grammar instruction, then continuing on again to immerse. I truly believe within even 6 months of doing this, one can become conversational (depending on the difficulty of the language)Mijn lesmateriaal
