Hello! I’m Omer, your next iTalki tutor.
I split my life between Israel and Australia, so I’m a native speaker of both Hebrew and English. As a polyglot fluent in seven languages, I’ve faced—and overcome—the same hurdles you’re facing right now. That firsthand experience helps me design lessons that are both effective and motivating.
I’m passionate about languages—I’ve spent the past few years studying French and Arabic, and I love helping students discover the joy of multilingual learning.

I teach Hebrew at two language schools in Tel Aviv, so I have plenty of professional experience to go along with my strong passion for language learning.
I also volunteer weekly at an NGO in my city where I teach Hebrew and English to asylum seekers.

Patient, great personality, knows Biblical and Modern Hebrew. He's the perfect guy to get you started on a Hebrew journey.
His being a native English and Hebrew speaker is very helpful for those that need that special linguistic understanding that native speakers have.

I’ve been studying with Omer for more than 6 months and I’m extremely satisfied. His lessons are always well prepared and correspond with my needs. I want also to mention his readiness to help: when I needed a lesson very early in the morning in order to warm up before an exam, he immediately agreed. I study both English and Hebrew with Omer and definitely recommend him as a great teacher.

Learning Hebrew with Omer is a pleasure. He is always prompt and prepared for our lesson. It’s a real joy learning from him and he always makes sure that I’m very comfortable with the material. When I’ve had trouble picking up new concepts he always has a suggestion or two on ways I can practice, or better learn that concept. His communication style is excellent and I feel like he really cares for my growth in each lesson.
