Fun English & Indonesian Tutor with 6+ Years of Experience Hello! I am an English and Indonesian teacher from the United States. My favorite thing ever is to travel! I've been to Mexico, Indonesia, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, and Malaysia, and I can't wait to travel to more countries in the future. I lived in Indonesia for 2 years as a service volunteer, which is where I learned Indonesian. I also studied there at a university in Yogyakarta and was an intern at Indonesia's national radio station! I am very fascinated with other cultures and traditions. Let's talk about your country's culture! My top priority is to create an environment where you never feel ashamed, nervous, or embarrassed to speak English. Everyone is still learning, including me! I have been teaching English for over 6 years and Indonesian for more than 4 years. I taught the beginning Indonesian course at my university and was a teacher's assistant for the advanced Indonesian course. I love teaching because it gives me the opportunity to meet people from different backgrounds and countries all over the world! I have experience teaching different kinds of people of all different ages. I believe that the most helpful part of my teaching is that I understand what it feels like to learn a new language.
