Mai is so sweet! She is very knowledgeable and knows how to meet you where you are. I totally recommend and I am already feeling confident about learning thai with her after one lesson! she made me feel understood about my goals and where i am in my language learning journey. She is very intelligent about explaining Thai and where people from other perspectives are coming from when it comes to understanding why the word is the way it is etc. Above all she is kind and that is what you want in a teacher!

Talking with Kru Mai is a lot of fun! She’s very considerate when it comes to speaking slowly and clearly. She’s also great at helping me “get” the words I don’t know yet when I need definitions. And I really appreciate the notes she gives me at the end of the lesson. The new vocab I learn from our conversations sticks with me!
