I am keen to shape the lessons around your goals and what you already know, so please send a wee message to let me know what you're looking for.
I specialise in teaching absolute beginners, and so you don't require any previous knowledge at all - although if you've already learned wee bits and pieces, I'm more than happy to adapt to that!
Rather than just following an existing course, I have developed my own materials - including custom flashcards for every word we cover, homework exercises, and detailed explanations for everything we discuss.
However, if you have a textbook or other course material that you'd rather work through, I'm very happy to structure my lessons aroundMijn lessen en manier van lesgeven
I am a big believer that learning a language doesn't have to be all-consuming. I know that people are busy, and so I want to help you work as efficiently as possible.
One trick that has been transformational for my language learning journey has been making use of downtime - waiting for the bus, boiling the kettle, TV ad breaks - to do vocabulary flashcards. So for every single word we learn together, I will make you a flashcard with audio, and talk you through how to make the best use of them. This was, by just spending a few minutes each day, I promise that you will learn and retain vocabulary faster than you ever thought you could!Mijn lesmateriaal

My aim was to get more confidence in speaking Gaelic and Gordon was really supportive in this. I really enjoyed the lesson and I will be definitely be booking more lessons.
