Daniel

It’s hard to find a place to start. Daniel doesn’t just teach Portuguese. He inspires a genuine curiosity about the language and culture of Brazil. He finds a way to make your language learning journey about you; not just about the rules of the language. From our first lesson he spent time getting to know who I am and the things I’m interested in; then structured our conversations and learning around those subjects. For me, this has made a huge difference in my learning because I’m honestly excited to talk about the subjects and material were covering in our lessons. Daniel is kind, patient, professional, punctual, but above all else he treats you like a friend. For me this creates a space where you feel comfortable to speak and not feel judged for mispronouncing something or not conjugating properly. I truly believe without Daniel I would not have progressed this far in my language learning journey. Thank you Daniel! You’re making a difference!

Daniel, is very resourceful and knowledgeable. He knows how to lead effectively a student to talk and correct errors by giving nuances unknown to non-native. His Class is also fun and I enjoy it very much. Higly recommended! Daniel, é muito competente e experiente. Ele sabe como conduzir o aluno a falar e corrigir erros dando nuances desconhecidas para não nativos. A aula dele também é divertida e eu gosto muito. Altamente recomendado!

Daniel is great. We have worked together for the past 6 weeks on my conversation skills. He is very organized and does a fantastic job of leading our conversations. He does a great job of keeping things fun and motivational, even when I feel like I am struggling.
