Cindy is very friendly but focused. She is great to chat with and learn from. She has many years of tutoring experience, has lived in several countries, and works with students around the world, and her curious and welcoming nature shows in her interactions. In addition, she has a variety of materials and is quite adaptable to personal learning goals. I have taken tutoring sessions with her on-and-off for a few years now and I have really appreciated her being flexible to my changing goals and also pushing me to explore new directions.

I love my lessons with Cindy! This was my first time getting a tutor and didn’t know what to expect, but she immediately put me at ease and made learning so easy and fun. She is happy to do both have more casual lessons and also structured lessons following books, and always allows for time for me to practice speaking on my own and ask her any questions. It just feels like catching up with a very patient friend. I’ve had 10+ lessons with Cindy and will continue! Highly recommend :)

Even though my Chinese still needs a lot of improvement, she is a patient and curious teacher, so I get the opportunity to learn about and discuss a lot of different things.
