Hello! I'm Clémentine — a passionate French teacher from France.
I love discovering new cultures and lifestyles — it’s what sparked my love for languages in the first place! I’m a cheerful and energetic person who enjoys staying active, especially through dance and exercise. I bring that same energy into my classes to make learning enjoyable and effective.

Teaching is my passion, which I first discovered while tutoring university students (aged 18 to 60!) at the University of Wollongong in Australia. Later, I worked as an au pair in Spain — an incredible experience that allowed me to teach both English and French while fully immersing myself in Spanish culture. From there, I pursued teaching more seriously in Slovenia, where I became a full-time language teacher for students from first to ninth grade. Before dedicating myself fully to teaching on italki, I also worked in in Thailand as a kindergarten English teacher — an experience that taught me how to bring creativity, patience, and playfulness into the classroom. Learning should be enjoyable! I create dynamic, interactive lessons that keep you motivated. Expect games, real-life scenarios, and lots of conversation. I use a lot of visual tools like drawings, props, or images to help you understand and remember new vocabulary and grammar—especially useful for visual learners and beginners. I tailor each lesson to the individual needs and interests of my students. No two learners are the same, so I adapt my materials, pace, and methods to suit your goals and personality. Clémentine is an amazing French teacher. In the span of one year of weekly lessons, I went from not being able to understand more than a handful of words to having full conversations with full comprehension. Clémentine also went above and beyond in creating structured lessons that helped me comfortably pass the DELF B2.
