Britta ist eine sehr kompetente und gut vorbereitete Lehrerin. Ihre Unterrichtsstunden haben mir wirklich geholfen. Ich lerne seit ein paar Jahren Deutsch, aber ich hatte Zweifel, ob ich jemals ein Gespräch führen könnte. Doch dank Britta konnte ich von Anfang an sprechen – selbst mit einem niedrigen Sprachniveau.

This was my first italki lesson. It was very fun and interesting. Britta was well prepared and I learned quite a bit. I admit I was a little nervous but Britta made me feel at ease right away.

I've been learning German with Britta since July 2026, and she's a very competent and well-prepared teacher. What's really helps me is that she pushes me to speak, even when I'm uncomfortable and she doesn't let me hide behind the easy parts. She's helped me alot by correcting my pronunciation and gives me time to practice the sounds I struggle with. She also always weaves in German culture throughout the lessons, which makes everything feel more relevant and helps it stick.

I’ve been learning German with Britta for 1.5 years and have gone from a complete beginner to being able to speak at a B1 level. Britta is an amazing teacher and increase the level of difficulty in a way that feels natural so that I continue to improve. She is always willing to answer my questions and I’ve come up with some random ones. Deciding to take lessons from Britta was one of the best decisions I made for learning German.

I had a great lesson with Britta! we spoke about a variety of topics and she gently corrected me throughout the lesson whilst keeping the conversation going!
