Michela was very prepared for our first class. I got homework for the next lesson, and I feel like she is taking care that I don't have any holes in my knowledge. She did a great job of correcting my pronunciation and also writing down words and phrases in the chat. thank you!

Michela was very good at determining my comprehension level early in the lesson. She then tailored the rest of the lesson to my abiity. She made the lesson rewarding (and fun) with just enough of a challenge to instill in me a sense of accomplishment. Very happy with her professionalism and teaching style.

Just as the weeks are flying by, so do our lessons. This week after talking about many subjects from pole dancing to visiting the lake district, we finally had just enough time to discuss the homework I had done. We have been looking at dialects, especially the Tuscan dialect and its influence on the Italian language. I am slowly starting to recognise the different dialects, even though I do not always understand the spoken words! I have said this before a few times, but learning the language with Michela is more than a lesson in learning how to speak the language, but also a lesson in Italian culture, and it is these lessons that has created my love of all things Italian, from the food, the culture, the places as well as the history of Italy. Grazie Michela! A presto!
