Today's lesson was extremely useful. In addition to some free talking in the beginning, we revised the topic on food but in a novel way - dictation of words and sentences. In the process, I can not only refresh my memory of the vocabulary, but also pay good attention to the actual pronunciation in normal speech. I am so glad that Laura took time to prepare this which is exactly what I need at this stage - having completed learning the B1 grammar but still rusty and awkward, especially with listening. We have decided this will be the way to go in coming lessons, at least before I feel ready to embark on B2. Muito obrigado Laura!

Laura is an excellent teacher. She was my professor at Nova Lisboa Universidade last year and did a masterful job leading lively and productive lectures, keeping everyone engaged. No time was wasted. As a one on one instructor she is, similarly, very focused and very knowledgeable. Her English fluency helps a great deal for primarily English speakers as she can explain the nuances of Portuguese in both languages. 5 stars out of 5!

Today we embarked on a new stage of my study - consolidation of what I have learned so far (B1). We will focus on speaking and listening in coming weeks. Look forward to more drills and perfection!

Today we started the last chapter of our B1 textbook. We talked about facts and impression about Portugal (and Hong Kong) and it was so interesting! Obrigado Laura!

Another great lesson with Laura. She is a very attentive, professional and patient teacher, especially when I come up with new words, as I tend to do. I feel a big progress in my Portuguese since I started taking lessons with Laura. She is very attentive to my needs and tailors material and topics based on what would be the most beneficial and interesting for me. Highly recommend!
