My lesson Masumi-san was such a pleasure! I definitely recommend taking lessons with Masumi-san. Throughout our lesson she was very patient and and the atmosphere of the class the class was relaxing while at the same time I was learning about new grammar points and words.

Masumi-sensei is a great teacher. Her lessons are always fun but still challenging, which makes it feel like you are really learning. She always goes the extra mile to type out new vocabulary and provide helpful notes after the class. She also puts a lot of thought into choosing a lesson plan for her students. You can really tell that Masumi-sensei cares a lot about doing the best teaching job for her students. It is always a good time being in her classroom. If you need a Japanese teacher who is kind and patient and who will help you learn Japanese faster then I highly recommend her.

The teacher has a very well structured course, breaking several the Genki lessons into smaller sections and thoroughly explaining the concepts. Also throughout the session, she cares for the students understanding, making small pause to see if the student might have any questions. In all, she is an excellent teacher.

It's amazing how much my Japanese has improved since I started taking lessons with Masumi. In March I could only really say my name, and I had no idea how conjugations work or really any understanding of grammar. Since March Masumi sensei has made me feel confident in my ability to learn Japanese. I can write, I can read, I can speak and ask questions in Japanese . The homework keeps me engaged between lessons. I am so happy that I took this step and so lucky that I chose Masumi.
