Hi, I'm Amira from Selangor, Malaysia. I am a native Malay speaker and speak informal/colloquial KL Malay.
I love traveling with a backpacker style(sometimes solo travel), exploring nature, hiking, and learning about history. I am also a part-time blogger and MLTR fan.

I will do my best to help you to master the Malay language and speak like a colloquial Malaysian. Because it will be easier for you to converse with Malaysians or local speakers.
I am open to any recommendation or suggestion of teaching style and materials from my students.

For a total beginner, I prefer to familiarize you with common vocabulary and short sentences.
I believe if you have mastered the basics, it will be faster for you to speak Malay.
What I will emphasize are VOCABULARY, PRONUNCIATION, CHITCHAT, READING, LISTENING skills.
There will be a variety of ways to do revision such as playing games, reading articles, audio tests,s etc.
I would prefer to use Zoom for beginner classes and intermediate. Meanwhile, Skype for conversation practice. But I am also flexible with my student's preferences. :)Mijn lesmateriaal
