I have had 12 lessons with Hikari so far and its incredible how far I have been able to come thanks to Hikari. Prior to taking lessons with her I only knew a few words in Japanese and could not make any sentences, however thanks to all the help and guidance Hikari has given me I now hold basic conversations in Japanese and I am continuing to improve thanks to her. Anybody who is serious about being able to learn Japanese should definitely take lessons with Hikari. ありがとうございました!!

This lesson went really well. I found myself becoming more confident as the hour went on with my pronunciation and reading. She is extremely encouraging and makes you feel proud of your little accomplishments. I would HIGHLY recommend her to anyone looking for a Japanese tutor. I feel bad I had many connection errors throughout the session though, but she was very nice about it.

My girls (6 and 8)have been talking classes on Italki for almost 8 months now and have had several different teachers. Hikari is hands down the best teacher for kids. She is engaging, patient, kind, basically the whole package. She is very prepared with material that keeps kids engaged and interested. She also changes her material to teach them daily conversation while also keeping her material to things that my kids like and enjoy. I can not recommend her enough. My kids now leave class excited when they learn something new or have almost mastered new material. Thank you so much Hikari.
