Turkish teacher, filmmaker (BA), and philosophy MA—I blend creativity, critical thinking, and language mastery. My lessons? A lively mix of grammar-in-context, tailored readings, and cultural insights from my travels to 15+ countries. Let’s make Turkish feel alive, not just academic! I studied BA in film directing in Istanbul and obtained my MA from a Philosophy and Social Thought program. I use a Turkish language course book and a reading book for all levels. I also have a book with explanations in English. Priority is speaking the language right by not getting bored with grammar. After a trial lesson, I diagnose the level and offer a personal program. Turkish is my mother tongue and I was always good at Turkish Grammar and literature and helping my classmates. I enjoy teaching and always get good feedback. I feel responsible for myself and for the people I'm facing. It has been already more than 6 months since I started learning Turkish with Cem. It is really a big pleasure! I see how much my level of language improved thanks to his amazing methods. Cem is very knowledgeable, as well as able to explain complex topics in a simple and easy to understand manner. Cem is always well prepared and provides useful materials to help get the most out of his lessons in intermediate Turkish.
