Marly (KIDS&Adults)

Thank you Marly! We had an amazing lesson and I continue to learn and improve every time we meet. I always enjoy our lessons and love how fun you make the learning units.

Marly is truly the best at play-based Spanish lessons, while also making sure that my almost 8-year old is constantly reviewing grammar and learning new vocabulary, without realizing it. For the hardcore grammar exercises, like conjugations, Marly sends a worksheet to do as homework. She is truly a treasure in my daughter's life, and my daughter is always happy with her lessons, even if they are on the weekend or after a long day of other activities, since Marly is up-beat, positive, and very fast-paced (in a good way).

Marly is an extremely engaging teacher. She always has new, interesting activities, and each lesson is different! She really makes learning Spanish fun!

Thank you for putting so much time and thought into each lesson plan! My daughter just thinks she is having fun with her friend Marly...you make learning conversation, and even textbook grammar so fun for her! You are so great with kids, and such a talented teacher to be able to pack so much learning into a lesson, and still get an 8 year old to laugh and giggle the whole time!

I’ve taken lessons with about 20 teachers across three languages on iTalki over the past 5 years, and Marly truly stands out as the most hardworking. She’s always punctual, teaches until the very last minute, and if we have a few unfinished questions (and there’s no class right after), she’ll often extend 5–10 minutes to make sure everything is clear. She’s fully attentive and cheerful throughout every lesson, and she takes incredibly thorough notes—new vocabulary, grammar structures, and even a transcript of what I say during oral practice—so we can review what I did well and what I need to improve. After class, she organizes everything neatly in our shared Google Doc, which makes reviewing so easy. Marly is also a grammar master: she explains structures clearly and always has well-prepared practice materials ready. With her patient corrections, my verb conjugation and conversation skills have improved a lot, and I feel genuinely confident about passing B2 soon and aiming for C1 next!
